Michael is often providing witty comments and quips, even in the face of danger, though he is the most prone to hysterical fits. Both Audrey and himself act flippant about their relationship, though due to Julian's dangerous games, it is shown deep down that both love one another. He is shown to be a very bright young man, as Jenny claims he has an A in world literature, and has several classical literature, psychology and physics books in his home, his father being a science-fiction writer. His nightmare involved turning into a headless plant, influenced by a story he'd read in third grade.
